Since 2001 carvers, during the pleinair organized by the Rokiskis Regional Museum, create sculptures with a new look at the work and life of the carpenter Lionginas Šepka. Now the park is decorated with more than 100 functional sculptures. The sculpture park created by Lithuanian wood carvers is a great commemoration of L. Šepka. And not just perpetuation. The park for the future generations will mark the 21st century Lithuanian woodcarving situation: its strengths, weaknesses, woodworkers’ search and mistakes.
