Since 2001 wood carvers, during the plein air organized by the Rokiskis Regional Museum, have been creating sculptures while taking a new look at the work and life of the carpenter Lionginas Šepka. Currently the park is decorated with more than 100 functional sculptures. The sculpture park created by Lithuanian wood carvers is a great commemoration of L. Šepka. And not just commemoration. The park will introduce the state of the 21st century Lithuanian woodcarving for future generations: its strengths and weaknesses, woodcarvers’ errors and discoveries.
