Notigalė Partisan Bunker

Notigalė partisan bunker, Kazliškis eldership, rebuilt in 1996. Twelve partisans of the Pandėlys-Panemunėlis district 1946 autumn decided to spent winter together. In the swamps of Notigalė, they set up a bunker and prepared food reserve. On December 12, 1946 they were fraudulently issued by a local teacher, Jakubka, who had brought the chekists. All the partisans were killed. The bunker is currently rebuilt and appropriate clothing is required to reach it in the swampy area.
