Everyone who chooses this route are invited to the interactive history lesson on the border of Lithuania-Latvia. The buildings and ruins that have been keeping a history for hundreds years are telling stories of a great land that have changed many times and is full with legends. An amazing landscape and the world of nature is full of sounds of wilderness and scents of a mystical and romantical history witch is inseparable part of Ilzenberg. On this hike you will visit Latvia, the Kacite village where a mystical Lutheran Church is located. You will walk through objects that Lithuania and Latvia couldn’t share so it ended up between both of them. Go visit a beautiful ruins of Onuškis manor and at the end of the hike you will reach a preserved manor of Ilzenberg and its beautiful park.
