The mound is located on a separate hill, on the western edge of the Kriauna Valley. The mound site is trapezoidal. At the eastern end of the site, smooth and lined ceramics and also decorated with typical soured ornament-diagonal beads, slag were found. At the edges of the site there is a former embankment, from which a 0.2 m high, 4 m wide elevation has survived. At the foot of the south side there is a terrace 5-6 m wide. The slopes are steep, 10 m high.

The site is heavily plowed, deciduous trees grow on the northern slope.

Around the mound, up to 150 m from it, there is a foot settlement, where an iron cavity of the 6th-8th century, smooth and rough pottery was found.

The mound dates back to the end of the 1st millennium BC – the 1st millennium
