Memorial Wall of Rokiškis Cultular Artists

The wall of Rokiškis Culture Center was presented in 2019 on June 21. It is dedicated to famous Rokiškis, cultural figures who formed the cultural face of Rokiškis region. Fourteen artists not only from Rokiškis, but also from Dusetos, Panevėžys, Šiauliai, Vilnius and the Republic of Latvia have created 21 memorial works. This wall contains of: writer Liudas Dovydėnas and sculptor Lionginas Šepka and folk artists Juozas ir Elena Pipiniai, actress Ona Kurmytė and actor, director, painter Bronius Gražys, founder of Regional museum Petras Bliūdžius, artist, musician, Edmundas Petrovas, artist Justinas Vienožinskis, poet Paulius Širvys and carver Jonas Vizbaras, architect Elena Nijolė Bučiūtė, sculptor Robertas Antinis, photographer Gintautas Dainys, architect Kazimieras Šešelgis and writer Alė Rūta Nakaitė, poet Elena Mezginaitė, Juozas and Alfonsas Keliuočiai, painter and scenographer Juzefa Čeičytė, painters and folk artists Monika Bičiūnienė, Matilda Olkinaitė, movies and theater actress Monika Mironaitė.
