Collection of Cribs

In Rokiškis Regional museum republican exhibition of  cribs are organized since 1998 Christmas. Museum’s collection includes over 130 works. This is probably the only such a collection in Lithuania.

A lot of people create and participate in exhibitions: famous folk artists, craftsmasters, students, families. A wide variety of materials are used to create cribs: wood, clay, straw, tow, linen, paper, dried plants, plastic and etc. All works are exhibited in the museum, so it can be visited any time of the year.
