The current St. Petras and Povilas the Apostles church is a decoration of Čedasai. But let’s start from the beginning.
Čedasai church history started in 16th century when the first church was built by Gedeonas Rajeckis. However, church passed to the reformers in 17th century and eventually the parish disappeared. The second wooden church in Čedasai was built in the end of 18th century. It is known that during the mass Lithuanian catechism was read here. Finally, stunning, neo-gothic style church was built in the first half of 20th century. This church has survived to these days.
