The mound is located at the upper end of a hill on the eastern shore of Lake Apvalasai. The site is oval, oblong, slightly protruding in the middle, 1 m higher in the eastern part. Smooth and streaked pottery was found in it. On the eastern slope, 1.5 m below the site, there is a 7 m wide terrace. The slopes are steep, 15 m high, except for the low east. The southern slope is lined with gravel pits.
The mound is overgrown with deciduous trees, also mentioned in the name of Onuškis.
The mound dates back to the 1st millennium BC – the beginning of the 1st millennium.
